Writer's Block Syndrome?

Writer's Block Syndrome?

A few weeks ago, I suddenly remembered that I was a regular blogger until 2021. Wrote a few things here. Things that interest me, things I love. The world was just opening up from a lockdown and getting "Back to Normal" ,whatever that means (normal means different to all of us, doesn't it?) People started getting the hang of things. The habit stayed. A lot of good things came out of the lockdown, right? We all realized we can have fun inside our homes. One good thing that I realized was that I've always loved articulating my thoughts into writing, just like I've always loved reading. So why not start a blog? Hell, I don't care if no one wants to read. I would still write them down. Feel good, feel lighter in my head. Like a great burden lifted off.

Somewhere along the way, I forgot about it. And here I am, back and at it again, after five whole years! My last post was on the 28th of June, 2021 and today's the 25th of June, 2026 ! Life has changed for the better. I am a mom now to a baby girl and suddenly have loads to write about ! All these days, I kept wondering where to start (restart?) or what to write. We are in the AI age officially. My job demands writing and being creative (oh yes, I've also changed my career path since my last blog and I love what I do now!) both of which are now being taken over by AI. But the AI slop and the writing style is not something that I can come to terms with. Atleast not everywhere. Scientific advancements are great. But what are we, without our own words? Our own thought processes? We are all unique in our own ways.

The constant AI slop made me want to start writing again. I kept thinking for the perfect topic to write on. But then I realized that I am not perfect, I do not want to be perfect at this. It's my hobby and it's okay if I make mistakes ! We're imperfectly perfect and that's what makes us human. I don't need to use fancy vocabulary, I can be myself. I can use my brain!

Here I am, back at something I love, something I can connect with. I renamed my blog. If you ask me why, my whole identity is not that of a mom now. But my brain has definitely been rewired. I think differently than I did five years ago. I will talk about this in detail in a later post. Until then, stay with me. Read if you may :)

P.S. The images on this blog would be AI. The words? Mine. Every. Single. One. The mistakes? Also mine :)
